College basketball is back. For me, at least, that was a jarring thing to realize on Monday. Coaching high school soccer devours every moment of most days from mid-June until it ends with all the subtlety of a car crash on a chilly night in Avon Lake when your midfield just gets overrun. Anyway.
Xavier demolished Mount St. Mary’s on Monday. Demolished them to the point that 15 players got off the bench and into the game for the Musketeers. Those games start as a lot of fun. “Look kids, Xavier is up 29-3!” At some point though, and don’t hate me here, they get kind of boring.
