"You think you'll get in?"
That was one of the first questions Greg Kunkel had for his son, Adam, on Saturday afternoon – the day before the Crosstown Shootout – when Kunkel called his dad to tell him that his waiver for immediate eligibility had been approved by the NCAA.
"Yep," Kunkel answered his dad in a video Xavier posted on social media.
Xavier was in the middle of practice Saturday when it found out Kunkel's waiver was approved and he'd be available for the Shootout.
