'Urgency' was Travis Steele's message as Xavier beats Ohio State

The word Travis Steele used was "urgency."

When Xavier took the floor on Thursday night in front of a sold-out Cintas Center crowd against No. 19 Ohio State in the Gavitt Tipoff Games, the Musketeers played with urgency, toughness, and the effort that's required in big games.

Xavier also had Paul Scruggs, who scored Xavier's final eight points to help the Musketeers hang on to beat Ohio State 71-65.

Scruggs finished with 14 points, six rebounds and four assists.

Jack Nunge added 14 points and 14 rebounds. Nate Johnson had 12 points and Adam Kunkel added 10.
