CINCINNATI, OH - The Musketeers bounced back nicely from the game last night to pick up a convincing 7-3 win at Hayden Field. Tyler DeMartino's grand slam and solo home runs led Xavier to even the series and move to 3-0 while playing on campus.
Starter Lane Flamm was locked in a duel early, and he went 4.1 innings and only gave up one earned run, but two unearned runs. Down 2-0, DeMartino stepped up with the bases loaded and muscled one over the wall to cash in four runs for the Musketeers.
