Morgan Tinsley was angry as she walked off the final green on April 25 at the Club at Gateway in Fort Myers, Florida.
Tinsley, a senior on Xavier University's women's golf team, had just three-putted on the last hole of the Big East Conference Tournament.
"I was so mad," Tinsley said, "and everyone was cheering as I was walking off the green. I was mad at the world."
Tinsley thought the cheers were being directed at the fact that the Musketeers had essentially wrapped up their second consecutive Big East team title with only one group left on the course, but that wasn't all they were cheering for.
