CINCINNATI --- Xavier University senior guard Trevon Bluiett has been named to the midseason watch list for the Oscar Robertson Trophy, which is the United States Basketball Writers Association award for college basketball's national player of the year. The Oscar Robertson Trophy will be presented at a news conference on Friday, March 30, at the Final Four in San Antonio. Xavier graduate David West won the award in 2003.
This is the latest in a list of midseason awards for Bluiett, who is also on the midseason watch list for The Wooden Award. Bluiett was named midseason Second Team All-American by NBC Sports and Sporting News.
