PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Xavier women's golf won its third straight BIG EAST Championship on Saturday afternoon, winning by 14 strokes. The Musketeers posted a 54-hole score of 878 (+14).
The three-day tournament was held at the Callaway Resort Mountain View Course in Pine Mountain, Ga.
Xavier's Abby Kiefer and Emma McMyler, and Creighton's Katherine Lemke, all finished the tournament tied for first with a score of 213 (-3). Lemke won the playoff to take the individual title.
• Xavier is only the second BIG EAST team to win three titles in a row.
