Three games in, here's what we learned about the Xavier Musketeers

Less than 12 hours before Xavier was scheduled to begin its season against Oakland, the school announced Tuesday that three men's basketball players had been placed in quarantine.

Then, Thursday morning, not long before Xavier was scheduled to meet Bradley in the Xavier Invitational, the Musketeers had to find a replacement referee after a member of its originally scheduled crew worked at Butler Wednesday night in a game that produced a positive COVID-19 test.

And Friday morning, less than an hour before Xavier tangled with Toledo, the school announced that the Fox Sports 1 television broadcast was canceled because of "COVID-19 issues" among the production crew, which sent Xavier scrambling to fill that void with its own production – a live stream on GoXavier.
