It took a prolonged back and forth, but the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University have come to an agreement on this season's Crosstown Shootout.
UC head coach John Brannen announced the news Wednesday in a two-minute video posted on Twitter.
In the video, Brannen explained a number of offers UC made to Xavier. Brannen said the first offer they made was to play at a neutral site in 2020 and then at UC in 2021.
The second offer was to play the Shootout at Cintas Center in 2020 and then at UC in 2021.
