NEW YORK - Following the first two meets of the season, Xavier men's and women's swimming swept the first BIG EAST Weekly Awards, with Emily Conners earning the honor on the women's side and Jon Bernard picking up the honor on the men's side.
Conners continues to lead the Musketeers in freestyle sprints in her senior season, claiming a pair of event wins in the 50 free and 100 free in the season-opening Butler Double Duals. Her times of 23.84 in the 50 free and 52.
