NEW YORK - Following last weekend's meet at Oakland, Xavier swimming swept the BIG EAST Weekly Awards, with Alexis Worrall taking the honor on the women's side and Andrew Martin picking it up on the men's side.
Worrall, a freshman from Victor, N.Y., led the Xavier women with a pair of first place finishes, sweeping the freestyle sprints in the Musketeers dual at Oakland. Her first-place time of 24.09 in the 50 free is the second fastest time in the BIG EAST so far this season, while her winning-time of 52.
