AKRON, Ohio - Xavier swimming closed out the two-day Akron Zips Classic with a pair of third place team finishes. Xavier's women topped Denison and Cleveland State, while the men topped the Vikings, picking up four top-three finishes, with Jon Bernard picking up three, including a win in the 200 IM.

WOMEN

  • Xavier's women had 110 points at end of the first session.
  • Xavier's women stood in third place at the end of the second session with a score of 217.
