Cincinnati, OH – Xavier Women's Tennis pick up win number 10 on the season after a 5-2 win over the Villanova Wildcats. The Musketeers stay perfect at home, 5-0, and in BIG EAST play, 3-0.
In doubles play, senior Lauren Ghidotti and junior Sophia Abelson won their sixth consecutive doubles match, making quick work of their opponent 6-1. Both the No. 2 and No. 3 teams battled hard, but Villanova took the other two matches to take a 1-0 lead.
Even though Villanova won the early doubles point, the Musketeers used all six singles matches to take control of the match.
