LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Xavier men's golf team concluded the first and second rounds of the Little Rock First Tee Classic this afternoon. Jose Montaño is alone in second place heading into the final round. The sophomore fired a 70 (-2) in the morning and finished with a 74 (+2) in the afternoon for a total score of 144 (E). Montaño leads the team with 26 pars.
Xavier, as a team, is in eighth place. The Musketeers shot a 308 (+20) in the morning round, and finished with a 305 (+17) for a combined score of 613 (+37).
