RIO VERDE, Ariz. – BIG EAST Golfer of the Week, sophomore Hanna Lee had her career best round today at the Rio Verde Invitational in Arizona. The Cincinnati native fired a second round 70 (-2), which puts her solely in first place heading into the final round tomorrow morning. Lee will be looking to medal for the first time in her career.
Xavier, as a team, is in tenth place out of eighteen teams after shooting an overall score of 299 (+11) on day two.
Senior Shane Crutchfield made a slight jump up the leaderboard on day two, going from tied for 52nd to tied for 44th after shooting a second round 75 (+3).
