CINCINNATI --- Wake Forest University and Xavier University have been competing in the Skip Prosser Classic since the 2009-10 season, a series honoring the late former head coach of both institutions. This season, the Skip Prosser Classic brand will be expanded to include Xavier's Dec. 18th game vs. Western Carolina at Cintas Center. WCU's second-year head coach is Mark Prosser, son of the former Xavier and Wake head coach. XU visits Wake Forest in its next game on Saturday, Dec. 14.
"Skip Prosser's impact on the Xavier basketball program is still felt today," said Xavier head coach Travis Steele.
