CINCINNATI - Simen Hestnes was recognized with a league award for the second time in three weeks, earning a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll following his four-point effort against Cincinnati last Friday.
The senior midfielder played a part in all three goals in XU's 3-1 victory in the Crosstown Derby, scoring in the 88th minute and adding two assists as the Musketeers improved to 2-0-2 on the season.
Hestnes assisted on Tomek Pauer's sixth minute goal and on Samson Sergi's go-ahead 80th minute tally. In the 88th minute, he stole a ball in the final third and finished 1-on-1 to give Xavier a two goal cushion.
