Seven Xavier University athletics teams earned public recognition from the NCAA for posting Academic Progress Rates (APR) in the top-10 percent of their sport for the multiyear rate, ending with the 2018-19 academic year.
"Having seven teams earn Public Recognition Awards is a credit to our student-athletes, coaches and academic staff," said Greg Christopher, Xavier University's Vice President for Administration and Director of Athletics. "Xavier Athletics has always prioritized academic excellence and this is further evidence of our programs' commitment to success in the classroom as well as on the playing field.
