The Missouri State Bears make the trip to Cintas Center Friday night (7 p.m., FSN) for a meeting with the No. 21 Xavier Musketeers in a non-bracketed game that's part of the Charleston Classic, which Xavier will head to next week.
On Tuesday, Xavier defeated Missouri, a school roughly three hours north of the Bears, in an overtime thriller to get to 3-0 in front of a sellout crowd on Victory Parkway.
Missouri State enters at 2-1 with consecutive wins over Cleveland State and Alabama State – its lone loss came against Little Rock, 67-66, in the opener.
