Xavier's men's basketball team could use a win. The Musketeers should have no problem playing that way on Wednesday night when they return home to the Cintas Center to face Southeastern Louisiana.
After consecutive losses against ranked opponents in Portland, Oregon, Wednesday's test should be all about progressing at both ends of the floor. Xavier's already shown what it can do offensively.
Now, the Musketeers need to start putting together some positive momentum on defense.
The two areas that have to be handled well on Wednesday are perimeter defense and turnovers.
Southeastern Louisiana is a top-40 team nationally in turnover percentage, so if Xavier doesn't take care of the ball it could make for an uncomfortable evening.
