NEW YORK - After scoring the game winner in the opening minutes of Xavier's 3-0 win over St. John's, Samantha Dewey earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the league office announced on Monday.
In the eighth minute, Dewey scored from Sydney Schembri to put the Musketeers ahead, 1-0, in what would eventually be a 3-0 win over the Red Storm. The goal was her 13th goal overall, adding to her league high total, and fourth of conference play.
