WASHINGTON, D.C. - Following the conclusion of the BIG EAST Championship match at Georgetown University, a pair from the semifinalist Xavier Musketeers, Samantha Dewey and Andie Kennard, were named to the BIG EAST Championship All-Tournament Team.
No. 1 seed Georgetown topped No. 2 seed Butler, 1-0, in Washington D.C. on Sunday afternoon, winning the Hoyas' third-straight BIG EAST Championship.
Dewey and Kennard each tallied in Xavier's BIG EAST Championship run which saw Xavier, as the No. 4 seed, host a BIG EAST postseason match for the first time in program history.
