CINCINNATI --- Xavier University junior guard has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll for his efforts this past week in Xavier wins over Missouri on Nov. 12 and Missouri State on Nov. 15.
Scruggs averaged 13.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in two Xavier wins, while shooting 10-19 from the field. Scruggs scored all 12 of his points vs. Missouri in the final 13:07, including four points in the five-minute overtime. He also made the key final basket in the 59-56 victory over Missouri State.
