NEW YORK - Xavier swimming's Olivia Oyster earned BIG EAST Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week honors after sweeping the freestyle sprints with BIG EAST leading times during Xavier's dual at Denison on Saturday. Kyle Hudson was also recognized as a notable performer.
Oyster, a sophomore from Delaware, Ohio, set a time of 23.38 in the 50 free to lead the field against the Big Red, marking the top time posted by a BIG EAST competitor so far this season. She followed that up with another BIG EAST-leading time of 51.
