OMAHA, Neb. u2012 It was always going to be a difficult week for Xavier’s men’s basketball team to win a pair of road games against two of the tougher opponents on its schedule, and Saturday at the CHI Health Center Omaha was a great example of that.
Creighton beat No. 13 Xavier 84-67 for a 1-1 week for the Musketeers.
Xavier’s first four losses this season were by a combined 14 points, making Saturday the first time the Musketeers weren’t really competitive.
The Musketeers got off to a decent start at Creighton and the game was tied 19-19 midway through the first half.
