NASHVILLE – Come the hour of need for Xavier basketball, the Musketeers’ senior stars answered the call.
Xavier's fourth-year senior guards Trevon Bluiett and J.P. Macura, along with graduate transfer Kerem Kanter, set the tone for victory in the Musketeers’ first-round 2018 NCAA Tournament matchup against the No. 16 Texas Southern University Tigers, taking the game, 102-83, Friday night at Bridgestone Arena.
Bluiett opened the scoring in the game a smooth 3-pointer.
