After losing two players to the NCAA transfer portal in the past two days, a little good news arrived on Tuesday for Xavier University's men's basketball team.
Senior Nate Johnson, who missed the final five games of the season with a left leg injury after starting the Musketeers' first 16 games, announced that he will return to the team next season.
Johnson, who was Xavier's best 3-point shooter this past season, is allowed another year of eligibility due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
It's a major development for Xavier after losing sophomore KyKy Tandy to the transfer portal on Monday.
