CINCINNATI --- Xavier University junior has been named BIG EAST Conference Player of the Week by College Sports Madness and has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll by the league office.
Marshall averaged 27.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 blocks and 2.5 steals a game in Xavier's wins this week over Green Bay on Dec. 4 and Cincinnati on Dec. 7, while shooting 58.8 percent from the field. Marshall scored a career-high tying 31 points, matching his effort in the win at St. John's last season, on a career-high 12 field goals made to go with a career-high five steals in the win over Cincinnati on Saturday.
