DAYTON, OH - Xavier baseball swept the Dayton Flyers in a Saturday doubleheader on the power of their bats, taking game one 24-16 with a season-high hits, then coming from behind to take game two, 14-11, in a seven inning outing. Xavier takes the series, 3-1, and moves to 9-13 on the season.
The Musketeers got the bats going in the first outing, taking a 3-0 lead in the first inning, then building the lead out to 14-0 with a nine-run third inning. The Musketeers score in four of the remaining six innings, collecting a season-high 18 hits to take the 24-16 win.
