WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Xavier volleyball dropped its opening match of the Stacey Clark Classic on Friday morning, fall at No. 19 Purdue in four sets (17-25, 28-26, 13-25, 16-25). The Musketeers dropped to 1-5 on the year, while the Boilermakers improved to 6-0.
The Musketeers return to action at 5 p.m. on Friday evening against Louisville (4-2). The Cardinals' opening match of the tournament started at noon against Lipscomb.
• Senior posted the second double-double of her career as she recorded a team-high 11 kills with 14 digs. She has record 10 or more kills in four matches this season.
