COLUMBIA, Mo. – When a college basketball team goes on the road there's a lot of things it must bring with it.

Among the most important are toughness, focus and precision execution.

Xavier misplaced those things Tuesday night at Missouri.

The Tigers trounced the Musketeers 71-56 in a game that got ugly in a hurry.

Xavier actually went on a 9-0 run early in the game, but it's 9-3 lead - its last lead in the game - disappeared quickly thanks to a 17-0 Missouri run that Xavier never recovered from.
