NEW YORK – Women's golf sophomore Mikayla Fitzpatrick was honored by the BIG EAST Conference, earning a spot on the seven-person All-BIG EAST Team for women's golf for a second-straight season,
The sophomore led the Musketeers with a scoring average of 75.59, shooting just 3.59 over par through 29 rounds. Her scoring average for the season ranked third among BIG EAST competitors.
In 10 tournament appearances, Fitzpatrick picked up five top-eight finishes, including a second-place finish at the Palmetto Intercollegiate where she set a new school record for 54 holes. Her tournament total of 214 (-2) topped a seven-year-old record held by Audrey Fellmeth, who shot 215 (-1) at the 2010 Badger Invitational.
