CINCINNATI - Xavier men's tennis fell opened up a two-match home weekend with a 5-2 win over Eastern Illinois at Eastern Hills on Friday evening.
The Musketeers return to action on Saturday, hosting Saint Francis at the Jim and Mary Brockhoff Family Tennis Facility at 3:00 p.m.
In doubles action, the Panthers and the Musketeers split the first two decisions, with Xavier taking a 6-2 win on the No. 2 court for and , while and fell 7-5 on court No. 1. and picked up the deciding win on the No. 3 court, battling through tiebreakers to take the 7-6 (6) win and the doubles points.
