CINCINNATI - Xavier men's tennis picked up a win to open the weekend at Cleveland State, topping the Vikings 4-3 on Saturday afternoon to move to 2-1 on the season.
Xavier remains at Cleveland State for its next match, facing St. Bonaventure tomorrow morning, set for a 10 a.m. start.
In doubles play, Xavier and CSU each took a 6-4 decision, with Xavier taking the No. 3 court with Marco Pennelli and Jorge Santamaria, while Ryan Cahill and Deacon Thomas fell on the No. 1 court.
