CINCINNATI – Men's tennis hosted its first match of the 2016 spring season at the Eastern Hills Indoor Tennis Club, facing off against competitive rival, Morehead State, January 28th. The Musketeers struggled in the opening doubles sets before displaying a dominant performance in singles competition, giving Xavier the overall win, 5-2.
At the no. 2 spot, in doubles competition, Jeremy Schenider and partner Jack Dykema, were the lone pair to earn their first win of the season by defeating Morehead States tandem, Ognjen Sunjevaric and Enrique Samudio, 6-3.
