CINCINNATI - Xavier men's tennis returned to the court today, falling, 4-0, to BIG EAST foe Marquette. The Musketeers finished out regular season play with a 6-14 overall record and will compete in the BIG EAST Tournament starting Thursday, April 18.
In doubles play, Marquette took the first set following a 6-2 victory in the No. 1 spot, defeating and . The Golden Eagles then secured the doubles point after defeating and in the No. 2 spot, 6-3. and led Marquette, 5-4, in the No. 2 spot when the doubles point was decided.
The Musketeers struggled in singles competition and were unable to secure a point in the match.
