BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Xavier men's soccer got a big road result to unofficially begin the 2018 season, knocking off No. 2 Indiana 2-1 on Sunday night at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
No official statistics were recorded. The two squads played three 45 minute periods with the first being closed to the public.
XU got both of its goals in the first period, coming from Bryce Curran and Cameron Belle to give the squad a 2-0 lead.
Curran's goal came from close range on the left side of the box, following a failed clearance by IU.
