CINCINNATI – Xavier men's soccer made its first appearance in the national rankings this season on Monday, checking in at No. 23 in the College Soccer News Top 30 poll. Additionally, redshirt sophomore Samson Sergi was named to the CSN National Team of the Week for his game-winner in Saturday night's 1-0 overtime victory against No. 9 Georgetown.
Sergi's golden goal came off a corner kick, as he finished off a header from Simen Hestnes in the 92nd minute for his fourth tally of the season.
