CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 15-8 overall and 4-6 in the BIG EAST Conference, host the Providence College Friars, 13-10 overall and 6-4 in the BIG EAST, on Saturday night at 8 p.m. at Cintas Center. Providence is one of two BIG EAST teams that Xavier has not played yet this season. The other team is Butler, which hosts XU next Wednesday.
Fans will see the throwback logos for both teams, including the Musketeer Running Man, and both teams will be wearing throwback uniforms for this game as part of the ongoing celebration of the 40-year anniversary of the BIG EAST Conference.
