CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 19-10 overall and 8-8 in the BIG EAST Conference, are back on the road for a Wednesday showdown with BIG EAST rival Providence on Wednesday night at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. The Providence College Friars, 17-12 overall and 10-6 in the BIG EAST, have won four straight games, including a 58-54 win over Villanova in Philadelphia on Saturday.
Xavier has won six of its last eight BIG EAST games, including four road wins. XU, which evened its league record at 8-8 with the win at Georgetown on Sunday, is looking for its 20th wins of the season.
