CINCINNATI — The Xavier University Musketeers, 10-0, have moved up to No. 10 in both the Associated Press Poll and USA Today Coaches Poll. In addition, XU is No. 10 in the CBSSports.com Poll and No. 7 in the NBCSports.com Poll. This marks the fourth season Xavier has earned a spot in the AP Top 10 since 2008.
Xavier, 10-0 and coming off a 65-55 win over then-No. 23 Cincinnati on Saturday, is off to its best start under seventh-year head coach Chris Mack. The 10-0 start equals the school-record start by the 1996-97 squad under the late Skip Prosser.
