NEW YORK - Xavier women's golf picked up multiple accolades on Tuesday afternoon as the BIG EAST announced its major award winners and all-conference selections. The selections were voted on by conference head coaches.
Sophomore Emma McMyler was named BIG EAST Golfer of the Year for the second time in as many seasons, while freshman Kara Carter earned All-BIG EAST honors. Breanna Jenco and her staff (David Patz) also picked up Coaching Staff of the Year honors, sharing the honors with Creighton's Debbie Conry.
McMyler has now earned All-BIG EAST honors twice in addition to being tabbed Freshman of the Year (2021) and Player of the Year twice (2021, 2022).
