NEW YORK - Matthew Rosenberg was named BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week on Monday, Aug. 30 following a standout performance in the team's season-opening weekend. Rosenberg and the Musketeers posted a 2-0 record over the weekend.
The Manalapan, N.J., earns the weekly award from the conference for the third time in his career.
Rosenberg posted a shutout in Friday's 1-0 win over Eastern Illinois, the 17th shutout of his career. He allowed one goal in the 3-1 victory over IUPUI on Sunday.
The goalkeeper made two saves over the weekend with a 0.
