CINCINNATI --- Xavier University sophomore forward Naji Marshall has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll for his efforts in Xavier wins over Creighton on Feb. 13 and at Providence on Feb. 16. This is the second time that Marshall has earned a BIG EAST honor since league play started at the end of December.
Marshall averaged 18.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game for the two Musketeer wins this past week. Marshall, who led all scorers in the Creighton overtime win with 23 points, scored 13 of Xavier's final 16 points, including four of XU's five points in overtime.
