CINCINNATI --- Xavier University freshman Naji Marshall has been named BIG EAST Conference Freshman of the Week for the third time this season. Marshall earned the award twice in the month of January. In addition, senior teammate Trevon Bluiett earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the eighth time this season. College Sports Madness named Bluiett as its BIG EAST Player of the Week.
Marshall averaged 15.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists for Xavier's games last week vs. Seton Hall and Villanova, while shooting 50 percent from the field (11-of-22).
