CINCINNATI - gave Xavier baseball a big lift on Sunday, pitching a career-high seven innings and striking out a career-best nine as the Musketeers won their series finale against Creighton, 10-8, at Hayden Field.

Xavier improved to 13-26 (3-6 BIG EAST) to snap a four-game losing streak, while the Bluejays fell to 23-11 (3-5 BIG EAST).
