PHILADELPHIA – Since joining the Big East Conference, Xavier's been unable to beat Villanova on the road.
The Musketeers (11-7, 3-2 Big East) have a shot to end that misery tonight (8:30 p.m., FS1).
Villanova (13-4, 4-0), currently on a five-game win streak, jumped back into the most recent AP Top-25 poll at No. 22.
Xavier's won two straight and the Musketeers sit in third place in the Big East standings behind the Wildcats and Marquette.
Junior point guard Quentin Goodin will return against Villanova after missing Xavier's last two games with a knee injury, head coach Travis Steele confirmed a couple hours before tipoff.
