Detroit Mercy makes the trip south to Xavier's Cintas Center Friday night (7 p.m., FS2) for the Musketeers' final non-conference game of the season and Xavier will be without two of its starters.
Junior forward Tyrique Jones and sophomore forward Naji Marshall are both injured and will not play, Xavier confirmed a few hours before tipoff.
Marshall's dealing with a back injury and Jones hit his head in Thursday's practice.
Starting lineups – Xavier will start all three of its graduate transfers, going with Zach Hankins, Ryan Welage, Kyle Castlin, Quentin Goodin and Paul Scruggs.
