That momentum didn't last, though.
Ohio was the more aggressive team the remainder of the second half and it showed in all aspects.
While Xavier was getting sloppy with the basketball, Ohio was in attack mode.
The Bobcats ended the first half on a 29-17 run.
Xavier snuck into the halftime locker room with the lead thanks to a last-second tip-in to close the half.
