The last time the Xavier University men's basketball team hosted a game in the National Invitation Tournament, it was also the last game the Musketeers ever played at the Cincinnati Gardens.
That was all the way back in March of 2000 – a lot's happened in the program between that last appearance and Wednesday's return to the NIT.
